Before a single product makes our list, we spend 20-40 hours researching the category. This includes:

We evaluate products based on six core criteria, weighted by importance:
Materials, welds, hardware, and overall construction. Can it survive daily use?

Price relative to quality. A $200 product that outperforms a $400 one scores higher.
Warranty length, what's covered, and how easy claims are based on customer reports.
Aggregate ratings, return rates, and long-term owner satisfaction from verified reviews.
3 Rating System
Every product receives a score out of 10, calculated from our weighted criteria. Here's what the scores mean:
